eDiscovery Leaders Live: Nearly a Year and Growing

Written by George Socha | Aug 31, 2021 8:30:00 PM

We launched eDiscovery Leaders Live nearly a year ago – weekly sessions hosted by ACEDS and sponsored by Reveal where I get the chance to chat with luminaries in eDiscovery and related areas.

The format has remained simple throughout. We bring on a broad array of guests for 1/2-hour discussions. They cover an even broader range of topics, all grounded on the experiences, expertise, and interests of the individual guests.

Since last September, 53 luminaries have joined us, a who’s who list drawn from academia, corporations, industry organizations, law firms, legal service providers, and software companies. Our guests have included business owners, practicing lawyers, project managers, paralegals, and much more. Their areas of focus have ranged wide as well: data science, customer success, and project management, just to name a few.

Our discussions have spanned the breadth and depth of eDiscovery and continued from there. Guests have talked about their ideal eDiscovery platforms. They have shared experience from early days – such as creating the Yahoo Group Litigation Support List listserve – as well as now – like building DLA Piper’s ground-breaking Aiscension. They have delved into how they have taken on a host of challenges, for example starting a new cloud-native eDiscovery service provider in the middle of the pandemic, attempts at simultaneously achieving perfect precision and perfect recall when dealing with breaches, and making effective use of and then operationalizing TAR.

Most recently, we held a rapid-fire set of six 15-minute sessions from the exhibit hall at ILTACON. Follow the links for recordings, key highlights, and quotes from each of the guests:

To attend future sessions of eDiscovery Leaders Live, join us Friday mornings at 11 am ET through any of these ACEDS channels:
